Why is Kristen Weaver Photography and Heaven Event Venue are the perfect combo?

We love blank spaces! My job as a photographer is to infuse my shooting style with your personal style! So using a venue like Heaven will allow you to create a space that is all about you!

What are some trends you are seeing in wedding photography for 2017?

I am absolutely loving the focus on gowns and floral design! Those were 2 of my top priorities when I planned my own wedding 2 years ago, so I’m super happy that it’s becoming more and more popular! I love loose, organic feeling bouquets with unique flowers and greenery.

What is one tip that you would give a bride planning a photography session in Central Florida?

Think about sunset times and light! If you love those beautifully lit portraits, be sure to consider time outside before sunset to achieve that look. I can’t tell you how many brides fall in love with bright and airy images, and then tell me their ceremony is at sunset and they’re not seeing each other before the wedding (meaning, pitch blackness for any photos).

Fill in the blank: From a photographer’s perspective – A Heavenly Event is when:

You’re able to really tell your personal stories through your wedding day!

With so many special products and features that are included at Heaven Event Venue, what is your personal favorite and why? I just love the blank space and the way it can be transformed in to anyone’s dream event!

As Heaven is a blank slate, what are some stunning photography opportunities?

One of my favorite things to shoot while I’m there is a fully realized reception space with lots of great uplighting, florals and linens!

What inspires you to do what you love to do?

My couples inspire me the most! Being in the wedding industry can be very stressful, and I definitely wouldn’t do it if I didn’t have these amazing couples by my side every step of the way! They’re more than clients – many become close friends and we connect in a way that allows me to photograph them and show off their relationship in a way that many people don’t get a chance to see!

If you could have one event there.. any theme.. what would it be?

I would do a New York loft-style ceremony with a simple altar and art-gallery style decor!

What are 3 things every couple should know/think about when searching for a photographer?

1) Connect with their style! Do you like more organic, natural posing? Or more traditional posing? We all work differently, so that’s a big part of hiring your photographer!

2) Understand their capabilities and trust them 100%. I can’t work with a couple who doesn’t have trust in me, and so I’d rather they find that photographer who they can really vibe with. The ultimate goal is for their day to be perfect and all the vendors work together to achieve that for them! (And if you have to show them Pinterest photos to recreate… you don’t trust their own artistic skills! Just something to keep in mind.

3) Don’t be afraid to talk money. We believe in mutual respect – our clients respect our prices and we respect their budgets! That said, any photographer will have ideas on how to make it work! We have associate photographers that can work with different budgets, or can offer great suggestions on timing to make less hours work. Sometimes, there isn’t much we can do – but we also have great friends in the industry and are happy to offer referrals!

Naim & Ameena’s Moroccan Detailed Wedding Reception

Photography: Asaad Images
Candy Table: Florida Candy Buffets

Naim and Ameena spent their special day in Heaven on May 8, 2016. The couple utilized our main banquet hall, which displayed the most beautiful setting.

Everything from wall to wall was simply stunning. The color scheme for this wedding reception included purple, fuchsia and hints of gold. The space featured tables surrounding the room and a special place for the newlyweds to sit, which was draped with lavish colors and decor.  Occasions by Shangri-La did a great job decorating the entire space. The room was truly detailed to perfection!

We especially love this candy table by Florida Candy Buffets. This table displayed gold sequin linens, lanterns, and candles encased in our hanging glass globes.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Bacchus!

Wedding Inspiration for Every Season

Whether you’re dreaming of a spring, summer, fall or winter wedding, there are endless ideas to help plan your special day. Each season has specific trends that people love to follow. If you think of spring and summer, florals and bright colors come to mind. During the fall, neutral and rustic colors are popular and during the winter, fresh white and wintery blues are often used. Although seasonal trends are obvious, there are ways to incorporate everything you’ve ever wanted for your special day, no matter what the season is.

Spring Wedding Inspiration:

Go for the bright florals or tone it down to a fresher look

Summer Wedding Inspiration:

Using light pink flowers and greenery is a great way to simplify summer shades

Fall Wedding Inspiration:

A mixture of earthy tones make the perfect fall theme come to life

Winter Wedding Inspiration:

Add a pop of color, such as red, to enhance a white wintery wedding

Jacira and Jason held their wedding day in Heaven Event Venue in Orlando. With the help of Angels Dream Events, Al Dee Productions P.S I Got This, Events by Nini we were able to create a perfect White Wintery Wedding. Our Main Banquet Hall was used and transformed into the perfect ceremony and reception spot.

Once the set up was finished, the banquet hall displayed a beautiful ceremony. Along the aisle, white tree branches, candles and snow were displayed. On both sides of the aisle, chairs were lined so guests could watch the couple say “I Do!”

Following the ceremony, the Main Banquet Hall in Heaven Event Venue was transformed into a reception area. The guest tables had navy blue and silver sequin linens. The tables also displayed tall crystal centerpieces, which held white flowers and white tree branches. This wedding was truly a winter fairytale and an unforgettable night!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Prasad!

Rose + Bryan’s Romantic Wedding Reception Glamorously Styled with Acrylic Accents

LOVE table & candle wall provided by Rachael Kasie Designs.
Acrylic tables provided by Fenice Events

Rose & Bryan’s modern wedding featured luxe details from start to finish. At the entrance of the reception, large white block letters spelled out LOVE topped with glass to hold place cards and decorations while our photo slideshow played in the background. Inside our Main Banquet Hall, guests were seated at clear acrylic tables lit with purple LED lighting. Our clear chiavari chairs complimented the acrylic tables allowing the tall centerpieces to take center stage.

A chic display of elevated manzanita branches entwined with orchids adorned the tables. Floral wreaths of white and purple blooms hung from the ceiling, along with our glass globes for an eye-catching display. Decor cascading down from the ceiling creates depth in larger rooms like our 7,000 sq. ft. Main Banquet Hall.

One of the most stunning details of the wedding reception was a unique candle wall display, provided by Rachael Kasie Designs, creating a soft, romantic backdrop behind Rose & Bryan’s ‘sweetheart table’. Tall floral arrangements of hydrangea, roses and orchids atop white pedestals flanked the candle wall.

We especially love the shot of Rose & Bryan’s first look! View their wedding photos captured by Castaldo Studio Heaven Event Venue Facebok Page.

Marry in Metal Showcase Gallery

We had so much fun chatting with engaged couples at our Marry in Metal Wedding Showcase! Thank you to everyone who attended and also a huge thanks to all of our participating vendors, including Party Flavors, Something Blue by Meredith and Stunning Studios who all contributed to our free wedding giveaway! Special thanks to Live Happy Studio for capturing the showcase with these beautiful photos.

One of the hottest trends for 2016 is metal – rose gold, gold and silver all play well together in this new wave of design inspiration. We wanted to bring the mixed metal theme to Heaven with our Marry in Metal Wedding Showcase. Our booth design featured mirrored panels with acrylic shelving from Max King Events and a steel teardrop sequin linen from GBS linens. We chose to focus on both gold & rose gold table displays for our ‘Heavenly Designs’ tables.

Our rose gold table featured a stunning teardrop sequin linen by GBS with silver glitter charger plates from Orlando Wedding and Party Rentals. Our clear chiavari chairs were accented with a blush satin sash woven between the back. Our Heavenly Designs’ tall floral arrangement featured garden roses in light pink and purple hues, white hydrangea, stems of orchids, and a cascading rose trim around a rose gold vase.

Our gilded show table featured a gold sequin linen paired with clear glass charger plates with gold trim. Gold chiavari chairs with gold satin chair sashes set the table. The candelabra held a lush floral display of white hydrangea, roses, carnations, dusty miller with hanging green amaranthus for a unique textured look.

Angels Dream Events decorated the ceremony area with an eye-catching gold sequin backdrop, and candles lined the aisle for a romantic display. Their white aisle runner was accented with an “I DO” spelled out in flower petals. Their show tables matched the metallic theme with silver branches adorned with crystals and a variety of blooms.

Puff ‘n Stuff Catering brought in a unique spoon display featuring delectable bites of Ahi Tuna, while Leefayes Catering gave out samples of savory Firecracker Chicken. Samples of decadent wedding cake from Party Flavors and Sprinkles Custom Cakes were a nice treat, in addition to champagne guests were given upon arrival.

We were very excited for our free wedding giveaway which included a rental of Heaven, coordination from Something Blue by Meredith, hair & makeup from Stunning Studios, and wedding cake from Party Flavors! Congratulations to Iris & Terrance who won the giveaway – we loved their reaction!

Jason & Roberto’s Intimate Ceremony

Photography: Live Happy Studio

Mr. & Mr. Mata tied the knot in Heaven with a romantic and intimate wedding ceremony. Jason & Roberto each wrote their own vows and chose to include a sand ceremony and a special unity candle lighting. Each guest held a candle so that the flame traveled from one person to the next until reaching Jason & Roberto’s parents, through the wedding party, and to the Grooms where they came together as one flame.

It truly made for an unforgettably emotional ceremony! Their wedding was full of emotions, including lots of laughter and smiles, especially when Roberto joined in on Jason’s dance with his mother to the song ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’.

Congratulations to Jason & Roberto and best wishes to the joyous couple!

Real Orlando Wedding: 4/12/15 Tiffany + Durrell

Tiffany & Durrell Wedding

The newlyweds tied the knot in Heaven under a unique, white circular canopy (provided by Orlando Wedding and Party Rentals) that created a romantic and intimate atmosphere for their wedding ceremony. Candles lit the aisle and there were pops of red and black. We especially love Tiffany & her dad’s idea to take a selfie while walking down the aisle!

We are so excited to share Tiffany & Durrell’s ‘Story of Love’ as told by Bumby Photography with these gorgeous photos!

For their reception, the same canopy was used for a sweetheart table set up, set with a stunning sequin tablecloth and tall red floral arrangements by Lee Forrest Design. Tables were numbered by chapters as Tiffany & Durrell told their story of love by displaying a picture slideshow for their guests during the wedding reception.

We wish Tiffany & Durrell a Happily Ever After!

Real Orlando Wedding: 1/3/15 Anna + Tuan

Every event in Heaven is unique, and Tuan and Anna’s forest-glam inspired wedding is no exception! When Anna and Tuan first toured the Heaven Event Center they were skeptical that our venue could accommodate their vision of hanging moss centerpieces and wood accents. We worked closely with the couple to make sure our venue could transform into what they had imagined. Anna wrote this shining review:

Real Orlando Wedding: 12/6/14 Bethany + Brandon

Asher with A-List Entertainment getting everyone on the dance floor to celebrate the new married couple

Between the flowing diamond aisle runner, raining diamond backdrop, bouquet of sparkly brooches, spiral chandeliers, EVERY part of Bethany & Brandon’s wedding was blinged out!

For their ceremony located in our Secondary Banquet Hall, Jason with Illuminating Magic projected moving diamonds for a super fun twist on the standard white aisle runner. We added a 10′ x 10′ white draped ceremony structure creating a focal point to the front of the room where the nuptials were said. Bethany’s mom created a Swarovski-encrusted cross for a chapel-like atmosphere. Clear chiavari chairs by Orlando Wedding and Party Rentals tied in perfectly with the diamond theme.

As guests enjoyed cocktail hour on our Patio Terrace, our Main Banquet Hall was decorated with even more sparkle! Illuminating Magic projected raining diamonds onto white pipe & drape set behind Bethany & Brandon’s sweetheart table. Each table featured a silver glitter overlay which reflected our royal blue LED lighting beautifully. A 16′ x 16′ white dance floor by Orlando Wedding and Party Rentals was placed underneath our 8-panel ceiling treatment paired with a ‘Halo Chandelier’ – 10 beaded spiral chandeliers in a cluster for the wow-factor.

The magic doesn’t stop there – diamonds were projected onto the bride’s dress for a truly unforgettable entrance into the reception. After hours of dancing, the newly wedded couple were sent off with a firework display on the front of our building while “The Time of My Life” played in the background.
