My name is Rebekkah (and no, it’s not a typo!) If I am not working on planning an event, you will find me listening to music (I listen to almost everything…from Lauryn Hill to Linkin Park), keeping up with the latest fashion trends or working out. My beverage of choice is a cup of coffee or a glass of delicious red wine.
I’ve been in the wedding and event industry for almost 10 years, starting in Michigan then moving to Orlando. My background has been in planning productions schedules and event management for concerts and festivals. My passion for events and helping couples was ignited after a friend of mine went through a terrible experience. Her DJ was late, her officiant didn’t show up and she was so busy with everything else she literally booked her honeymoon the night before her wedding. I saw her right before the ceremony with her makeup disheveled from her tears and she said: “I just can’t wait until this is over”. I never wanted to see ANYONE go through that again.
I’m married to the love of my life. We met almost seven years ago at a little coffee shop in Orlando (love hint #1: my love for coffee) where there was a live band (love hint #2: my love for music) and the rest is history. My hubby is a hairstylist so you may see a few changes in my hair color. Being married to my love is why I completely understand how important it is to have your day run smooth. This way, you are really able to enjoy it with the love of yours.

What was your favorite event you produced here?
My sweet couple Lauren and Tito were married at Heaven and they had such a romantic, modern wedding. It turned out gorgeous and they were so happy.
What is one tip that you would give a bride seeking a venue space in Central Florida?
Make sure to know your guest count and what is included in the venue cost. Make sure to prioritize your list of needs and have this ready at your site visits.
As Heaven is a blank slate, what is one outrageous themed event you would love to see in this space?
I have been DYING to do a masquerade ball. Over the top décor and props with gorgeous formal attire!
What inspires you to do what you love to do?
Every day I am allowing clients to actually enjoy their event versus stressing about the details. Some days, I’m a friend that they can vent to and some days I’m just solving their problems. My days go by so fast because I enjoy every minute of it!
